Hours and Compensation Potential:
Full-time position with a mix of day and evening shifts.
Shifts are rotated and are 8 hours long, with start times at 5am, 7:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm.
Approximately 80% of shifts are during the day and 20% in the evenings. Weekends are rotated, typically every 4th weekend.
Compensation range is $54/hr-$75/hr depending on experience.
$2.75/hr shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.
Full benefits package and a sign-on bonus.
What We're Looking For:
PharmD required. Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Ohio.
Hospital experience preferred. Will consider someone with a retail background.
What You'll Be Doing:
Compounds and/or dispenses medications to patients and provides drug information and education to all customers to optimize the quality of care.
Accurately performs medication order entry on the computer system, ensuring completeness of the patient’s medication profile.
Provides drug and toxicological information to customers in a timely and accurate fashion to maximize knowledge and minimize risk/adverse events.
Performs accurate calculations of caloric and/or electrolyte ingredients for TPN, resulting in the correct administration of patients’ nutritional therapy.
Monitors drug therapy of patients by screening for potential medication problems to resolve issues involving drug interactions, incompatibilities, and potential allergies without patient harm.
Applies pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles to individualize drug dosing for patients.

Position reports to a new Director following the retirement of the previous director.
