Our client is seeking a talented Civil Engineering Project Manager to join their Chicago office. Position Overview:As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams on a variety of public and private sector projects including residential, commercial, and industrial site development, roadway and trail design, stormwater modeling, green infrastructure, and capital improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from concept through completion
- Perform civil engineering plan reviews and ensure quality control
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Prepare reports and technical documentation
- Lead internal staff, mentor junior engineers, and manage project teams
- Maintain budgets, schedules, and project deliverables
- Support business development efforts and proposal preparation
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- 710 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Proven experience managing site development and infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
