Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to join our team in Upper Sandusky. This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety, while adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist healthcare professionals in administering medications and treatments.
- Facilitate patient mobility and ensure proper positioning and transferring of patients.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment by following strict infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Education in physical sciences and/or laboratory techniques is preferred.
- Experience in dialysis is preferred.
- Experience in reprocessing, equipment repair, and maintenance is desirable.
- Completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis or appropriate state licensure is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance if travel by car is necessary.
- Basic computer skills are desirable.
