A prominent law firm with offices in Southern California is seeking a midlevel corporate lawyer with expertise advising emerging companies and venture capital clients. Key Responsibilities:

- Advise emerging companies and venture capital investors on a range of corporate and transactional matters.
- Draft and negotiate venture capital financing documents.
- Provide legal guidance on corporate governance issues.
- Support clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic transactions.
- Conduct due diligence and assist in transactional closings.
- Act as outside corporate counsel to early-stage and late-stage private companies.
- Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.- Admission to the California Bar.
- 4-6 years of experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong background in corporate law, particularly with emerging companies and venture capital transactions.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

As per state law, the listed compensation for California canididates is $310,000 - $390,000 per year.It is required to should submit their cover letter, resume, and any law school transcripts
