Job description:
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER ($80K to $110K)
Join a growing and dynamic engineering team with over two decades of experience delivering top-notch solutions across the Southeast and beyond. They specialize in Foundation and Structural Design, Site Development, Water and Sewer Systems, Stormwater Management, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze modular buildings, ensuring they meet all required building codes, standards, and regulations
- Utilize STAAD and other structural analysis software to perform complex calculations and simulations
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction is carried out according to the design
- Provide technical advice and solutions to complex engineering problems
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Nice to have, but not necessary - A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, familiar with building permitting, and building codes
- Proficiency in STAAD and/or other structural analysis software
- Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
