Job Description
- Draft wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents
- Advise clients on federal estate and gift taxes
- Handle estate administration and sophisticated tax planning for individuals and entities
- Work with partnerships, corporations, and closely-held businesses for estate planning
- Collaborate on charitable planning initiatives
- Conduct research and present complex legal solutions in clear terms
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in trusts and estates law
- Admitted to the North Carolina State Bar
- Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents (wills, trusts, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of federal estate and gift tax laws
- Experience with estate administration and tax planning for partnerships and corporations is preferred
- Strong research, writing, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
