As a Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient plant operations. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining processes to enhance productivity while adhering to quality and safety standards. Here are the key details:
Responsibilities:
- Analyze Plant Processes: Evaluate existing systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and Implement Solutions: Create and modify programs for machinery, robotics, and 3rd-party integration.
- Troubleshoot Hardware and Processes: Address issues related to motion control, servo controls, and HMI.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and service professionals.
- Ensure Standardization: Maintain structured program formats for ease of understanding.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or 2-year degree in (electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical) preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years in automation and robotics.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with motion control, servo controls, HMI, and packaging equipment.
- Understanding of machine motion terminology.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley, Fanuc, or PLC programming is preferred
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong cause-effect analysis skills to solve complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaboration and troubleshooting.
