Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a leader in creating and fostering a safety culture
- Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
- Train staff at all levels in environmental issues and responsibilities
- Provides all OSHA compliance
- Develop safety procedures
- Four year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent field of study is required; Master’s degree a plus
- 5+ years of proven experience in EHS program management and safety performance improvement required
- Professional certifications, such as CIH, CSP, CHMM, and/or PE preferred
- Non-Union experience is spreferred
