Our client is a successful manufacturer with an operation in the Nazareth PA area.
At this time, they are hoping to attract an Electrical Design Engineer who will
- Create and/or redesign existing Schematics and Printed Circuit Board designs for DC control systems and test fixtures
- Create BOM (Bill of Materials) for your new designs
- Design filter inductors and main power transformers
- Test new designs to ensure they meet all internal and 3rd party environmental, regulation, and safety standards.
- Work with manufacturing personnel analyzing and resolving production issues, or documentation issues.
- Participate in discussions with engineering group to collaborate on the system designs
- Attend weekly engineering meetings and bi-weekly staff meetings which include the entire company.
Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering college
- 7+ years’ experience working as an electrical engineer in a similar field
- Power Electronics, Analog, Digital, and Embedded Microcontroller Application designs
- Magnetics design (transformers and chokes)
- SCR Control and Driver Circuit design
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in supporting manufacturing environment
