The Key Responsibilities of the position are:

  1. Learn and apply deep functional understanding of manufacturing processes.
  2. Lead the scoping and design of manufacturing enhancements.
  3. Serve as a functional trusted business partner and thought leader to our operating departments (Saw, Forge, Machine, Heat Treat, Inspection, QA, Product Certs, and Production Control).
  4. Properly identify and deliver to user requirements while implementing change management to serve those requirements.
  5. Provide the business owners the information required for them to make educated decisions regarding system changes. This includes defining overall scope, work effort, weighing the risk to change, the time to change, and the benefits gained by the change.
  6. Staying on top of technology trends and matching those trends to our customer’s needs.
  7. Document the processes with our business owners while learning the manufacturing end of our business.
