Fast-paced manufacturer is seeking a Project Engineer - Mechanical to work on project and process engineering tasks in their high-volume, process-oriented manufacturing organization.  Daily you will be responsible for the following tasks:
 
Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to take ownership of their projects.  Individuals should enjoy spending 50% or more of their time on the manufacturing floor.  This is a high-profile position that will partner daily with production and quality.  The company offers EXCELLENT medical benefits (including dental and vision), profit sharing and bonus potential, short-term and long-term disability, 401K, paid holidays, vacation and tuition reimbursement.  Medical benefits are available the first day of employment. 

REQUIREMENTS for the Project Engineer - Mechanical:
1. Bachelor's Degree in a technical field; Mechanical Engineering related degrees are highly preferred 
2. Minimum of one year of project engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment 
3. Experience working in related process, packaging or consumer goods manufacturing environments 
4. Experience completing CI functions, including scrap reductions, improving line efficiencies, etc. 
5. Experience overseeing capital equipment projects 
6. Mechanical aptitude
7. Basic project management, including overseeing project timelines 
8. 2D and/or 3D modeling experience 
9. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Experience overseeing capital equipment projects 
2. ERP experience 
3. PLCs, robotics and/or automation experience
4. Lean certification
5. Experience overseeing contractors 
6. R&D and line commissioning
