This Facility is a 26 bed medical surgical telemetry care unit, and stroke unit. The telemetry care unit is designed to carefully monitor and treat patients who require specialized cardiac care. The highly trained staff provide expert care for patients suffering from a wide variety of medical conditions, especially stroke. All private rooms with spacious area and televisions within the room for family use.
Interpersonal skills which ensure effective communication with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
Analytical skills to assess, prepare, implement, and evaluate the outcomes of the plan of care.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
Computer literacy.
Graduate of an Accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing.
Current NYS license or Limited Permit to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
BLS certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
ACLS and Basic Coronary Care certifications obtained within 6 months of hire.
