One of the largest grain-based manufactures in Europe with total annual revenues of $1B producing a variety of custom, co-packing, private label, own-label of 65+ types and 450+ SKUs of pasta products for major US grocery chains and distributors.
Responsible for the new business development for private label pasta products to national grocery accounts and B2B large national brands.
Analyze category information. Propose and implement the strategy of the category in coordination with global category and with other company departments. Budget management and monitoring and reporting results.
Assist in the research and development of new products and processes suitable for accounts within the portfolio. Formulating program contracts.
Develop and strengthening relationships with new and existing customers and broker partners through bottom up and top down account level penetration at all levels of the retailer. Work closely with broker partners with joint selling efforts and accountabilities.
BS / BA.
5+ years of pasta sales to national and regional grocery chains with contacts.
Experience in the R&D process.
Understanding the retailers bidding process and key points of contact.
Bi-lingual Italian, a plus.
Salary $80K + 20% commission of sales (no cap) + 10% bonus plan, 401(k), medical, dental, long term disability, home office, vacation, laptop, phone.
