The Electrical Controls Engineer will be designing, programming and sequencing operations. At time, this person will helping with start-up and equipment debugging. Although this person will working for an Engineering Manager in an office environment, there will be a minimal amount of work on the floor. There may be limited travel (the average is between one to three weeks-it is a couple days verses three weeks straight) to do a variety of work from technical customer meetings to starting up equipment. There is a full set of in-house service technicians and an outside service group well-versed in the equipment to do most of that work.
The background of the successful candidate should include the following:
- An engineering degree
- Five years of experience programming Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC's
- AutoCAD Electric ( ACADE ) experience
- Ability to program PLC's from scratch
